Children who are "out of sequence" due to lack of participation in faith formation classes or catechesis can enroll in our Out of Sequence Program. Once completed, the child will be able to receive the sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, and/or First Holy Communion.

The Discalced Carmelites are a Roman Catholic religious community of priests, nuns, brothers, deacons, and laity serving the Church through lives of contemplative prayer and ministry in a fraternal setting appropriate to their state in life. Members of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites are faithful members of the Church, called to live in allegiance to Christ "through a friendship with the one we know loves us" and in service to the Church. Under the protection of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, in the biblical tradition of the prophet Elijah and inspired by the teachings of St. Teresa of Jesus and St. John of the Cross, they seek to deepen their Christian commitment received in baptism.
Members of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites live their vocations "in the world" rather than in a monastery. Having the freedom to be physically present to others in their families, workplaces, neighborhoods, and parishes, they bring the fruit of their prayer to the world.
The St. Joseph Community of Discalced Carmelites Secular Order meets the first Saturday of every month at St. Mark from 10am-1pm in the chapel and educational rooms (St. Juan Diego and St. John Newman).
