Funeral Planning

Even death is illumined and can be experienced as the ultimate call to faith, the ultimate, "Go forth from your land" (Gen 12:1), the ultimate, "Come!" spoken by the Father, to whom we abandon ourselves in the confidence that he will keep us steadfast even in our final passage."

While the death of a loved one is always difficult, our faith reminds us that the Lord is the God of all consolation. He comforts us in our affliction and enables us to comfort those who grieve with the same consolation we have received from him. 

Funeral planning and preparations can be discussed when a person is still alive. However, if someone in your family has passed, please contact [email protected] to notify us of their death. From there, our staff will be able to support you and your family through this difficult process. 

If the deceased is Catholic, he/she or the family may choose one of the four options:

• Funeral Mass: deceased is present (casket or urn), celebration of Liturgy of the Eucharist, must take place in Church
• Funeral Service outside of Mass: deceased is present (casket or urn), no Liturgy of the Eucharist, can take place in Church or funeral home
• Memorial Mass: deceased is not present, celebration of Liturgy of the Eucharist, must take place in Church
• Memorial Service outside of Mass: deceased is not present, no Liturgy of the Eucharist, can take place in Church or funeral home
