Children and Youth Faith Formation

Our St. Mark elementary programs enrich the knowledge of your child's faith as well as their spiritual life, prayer, and liturgical experiences. Our goal is to continue supporting our children and families while strengthening our efforts and commitment to the total faith development and education of children at St. Mark.

We offer Little Lambs, a pre-school and kindergarten program on Sunday mornings and elementary Faith Formation classes on Wednesday evenings for children in grades 1-5.

Sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First  Holy Communion is a 2-year program and requires both the child and parents to actively participate in the life and mission of the Church. 

Children who are "out of sequence" due to lack of participation in faith formation classes or catechesis can enroll in our Out of Sequence Program. Once completed, the child will be able to receive the sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, and/or First Holy Communion. 

• Edge (Grades 6-8): As their teenage years draw near, Edge will help deepen their faith, develop a personal relationship with Jesus, and strengthen their friendships in the Church community.
• Lifeteen (Grades 9-12): Lifeteen is a classical youth ministry program focused on leading teens to Christ and allowing the Young Church to step into its own as the faith is passed onto the next generation. Students experience community-building activities, praise and worship, large group presentations, and small group breakouts.
