Children's Faith Formation

Children's Faith Formation is our elementary program for grades 1-5. We offer two sessions on Wednesdays, one from 4:15pm-5:30pm and one from 6:30pm-7:45pm. Classes are held during the regular school year with a break during the summer.

Sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion is a 2-year program. Students in first and second grades (Year 1 and 2) are required to be enrolled in an approved faith development program. We recommend that children entering 1st grade should be enrolled prior to entering their sacrament year. Parents are also expected to attend information sessions and parent/student workshops during the year.

Please notify the Director of Children's Faith Formation if you have a child above second grade who has not received his or her First Sacraments. We will enroll them in our Out-of-Sequence classes, which is also part of a 2-year program.

Both sessions are held in the classrooms at St. Mark Catholic School. Registration, parish membership, and a baptismal certificate are required.
