The soul is regenerated in the sacred waters of baptism and thus becomes God's child.
- St. Maximillian Kolbe
Baptism is the first sacrament one receives when entering the Catholic faith. This sacrament of initiation gives us sanctifying grace through the Holy Spirit and makes us adopted children of God. By the holy waters of baptism, original sin is washed away and new life begins.
Baptisms require a minimum of 30 days notice to complete the requirements and schedule a date.
